International Media Data Analyst Consultant – London – £30K- £43K + Bonus (paid three times a year) & Generous Benefits

Who will I work for? A busy international media consultancy based in London (super offices with an architectural twist!) Clients include renowned global brands, leading media agencies and media owners based around the world.

Salary: £30K to £43K (this depending on your experience level) plus regular generous bonuses which can increase your overall remuneration by a significant percentage, a great holiday allowance and company benefits including gym membership and pension.

What’s the Opportunity? Producing commercial insight from a wealth of international media data across global markets. You’ll be working on large and varied blue-chip media accounts from a huge range of sectors, including Retail, Automotive, Consumer and Finance.  Working alongside the senior media team you’ll provide media analysis and insights around media performance and ROI of advertising across all media formats.  More than just ‘crunching numbers’ this role is varied and will see you writing country reports and researching the media and economic outlook for various global territories, building databases, benchmarking, monitoring developments in the media industry (and between media agencies) and a range of other responsibilities to give you a rich and diverse media analysis role.  Media coverage is multi-channel with a particular emphasis on digital media and broadcast media, so specialisms in these areas are welcomed.

What skills will I need to bring?

  • Some previous experience in a media environment (media agency, media auditor etc)
  • Experience analysing and manipulating data
  • Excellent numerical abilities
  • Able to create and manage reports in PowerPoint
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ideally some programming experience e.g VBA or SQL (but not essential)
  • Any exposure to Power BI useful (but not essential)
  • Ideally a second language e.g German, French, Spanish or Italian
