Insight Lead (Tableau) – London – to £55K+ with generous benefits + performance bonus

What’s the Opportunity? As a Tableau specialist you’ll be so much more than a dashboard builder! This pivotal data opportunity is all about innovation and looking at the bigger picture with client and market data. You will work closely within a very collaborative and friendly unit comprising highly supportive management, leading analysts and data processors and a market leading client support team. With all the tools and training essential for your success available right here, you can concentrate on delivering informative and creative stories from up to the minute data, drawing valuable insights for clients from the databases and dashboards you create. This is a client facing role but previous presentation experience isn’t essential as you can pick this up as you grow into the position – most important is your desire to develop personally and add value to the data team and your clients as you do so.  You’ll be working with extremely sensitive and confidential client datasets so this role will suit someone who values data security and also playing a vital role in the economic landscape of the UK.   

Personal development is a big priority for this market leading data company, they want you to do well and will help you on this journey with training, plus also your own ideas for strategies and improvements companywide will always be heard.  

What skills will I need to bring?

  • Sound Analytical experience, able to translate data into insights
  • Previous working experience with Tableau (around a quarter/half of your day currently will be spent working with Tableau)
  • Working experience with databases and dashboards
  • Ideally SQL Server experience (not essential this can be acquired in the role)
  • Any experience with Alteryx valued (not essential this can be acquired in the role)
  • Critical thinking skills and able to communicate with diverse audiences
  • Any exposure to financial industries desirable but not essential
  • Passionate about economics and current affairs
  • Strong Excel abilities.
  • Great attention to detail, you enjoy the process and have a genuine pride in getting it right!
  • Strong communication skills – both your team and clients will want to feel you’re a safe pair of hands and that you care about their business.
