Client Account Executive – Retail/Commercial Insights – London – to £30K with generous Benefits + Performance Bonus
Who will I work for? A high-profile global retail/commercial insights and marketing solutions consultancy which enjoys a very collaborative set up between colleagues and teams. Working a hybrid of home remote and London office.
What’s the Opportunity? As Client Account Executive you will be pivotal in assisting the senior Client Manager with the management of key business critical client accounts. By ensuring the business retains the accounts and also wins new business you’ll be generating revenue whilst simultaneously adding value to the client accounts. In this exciting and rewarding Account Executive role you will be trusted with some of the most sensitive information in the UK today, and working with such confidential data will naturally be very interesting and varied!
Within the close and friendly commercial team, you’ll be working across a broad variety of projects and clients. Day to day key responsibilities include liaising with clients to help develop long term and fruitful business relationships, hosting online training for clients, following up on data supply from clients and responding to their data queries, helping out with new business pitches for new prospective clients, assisting with online webinars and real life conferences and UK client visits as appropriate, researching trends in the market and sharing with the team, making sure the CRM is accurate with client details etc.
A highlight of this Account Executive role will also be the opportunity to enhance and improve existing your existing skills, so if you are someone who’s looking to learn or brush up your Tableau for example, this is additionally something you’ll have the opportunity to do.
As you’ll be working withing a data environment it’s important you enjoy translating this kind of information in an easy to understand way for clients. The stakeholders are always happy for you to innovate with new ideas for revenue streams, and collaborate with other departments in the business to maximise revenue generation and overall client satisfaction. Also, within the Account Executive role you’ll be undertaking tasks around client confidentiality and security, so attention to detail and an appreciation of the importance of this kind of data is crucial.

What skills will I need to bring?
- Ideally some experience handling or assisting with key client accounts
- Strong communication skills – your team and the clients will want to feel you’re a safe pair of hands and that you really care about their business!
- You will be a team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues
- Commercially aware and able to see the bigger picture
- Hawk like attention to detail and accuracy with a genuine pride in getting it right!
- Numerate and data savvy, interested to learn more about working with data and insights
- Keen to work with the basics of Tableau (might already have used it, if not this will be taught)
